Eschenholz is the name of the Farm where my father was raised. The photobook mixes archive Images with new Images, past & present are displayed in a non linear way. The book uses no grid and some Images are flipped to emphasize the feeling of an imperfect family album. There is also a lot of white which lets the book feel incomplete and suggest that not everything is being passee down to future generations. The text consists of memories and feelings about the place from Simon, Eugen and Rosa who currently live there.
